7:10 a.m. – Traffic stop. Officer Norm Taylor initiated activity at Bevins Court and Bevins Street. Warning given.

 

8:39 a.m. – Traffic stop. Officer Norm Taylor initiated activity at Rotten Robbie’s, S. Main Street. Warning given.

2:01 p.m. – Shoplifter. Officer Norm Taylor responded to Kmart, S. Main Street. Shoplifter in custody; arrest made.

 

2:20 p.m. – Offenses against family and children. Sgt. Dale Stoebe and Officer Norm Taylor responded to Forbes Apartments, S. Forbes Street. The caller came into the office and stated she was being abused by her son. Per the caller, it is an ongoing problem and there is marijuana in the residence. Report taken.

 

3:13 p.m. – Traffic stop. Sgt. Dale Stoebe initiated activity at S. Forbes Street and Konocti Avenue. Moving violation citation issued.

 

4:26 p.m. – Followup. Sgt. Dale Stoebe responded to S. Forbes Street residence. The caller found marijuana in her son’s room. General services rendered.

 

5:47 p.m. – Followup. Sgt. Jason Ferguson initiated activity at Fifth Street. Report taken.

 

6:28 p.m. – Welfare check. Sgt. Jason Ferguson responded to Ashe Street residence. The caller says the subject unplugged her phone and she wants him removed from the house. However, the subject lives at the residence. Both parties are high and not getting along. Both parties were advised the LPD would check on the situation. General services rendered.

 

6:43 p.m. – Welfare check. Sgt. Jason Ferguson responded to request by Lake County Mental Health for a welfare check on a subject at the Taco Bell, Todd Road. The subject is at the bus stop, waiting for a bus that isn’t scheduled to come. Outside agency assist; Mental Health is on the scene and has taken custody of the subject.
