KELSEYVILLE, Calif. — For more than 20 years, the Kelseyville Father Daughter Dance has served as a beloved community tradition, bringing families together for an evening dedicated to connection, celebration, and lasting memories.

This year's event will be Saturday, Feb. 28, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Kelseyville Presbyterian Church, 4021 Church St.

Founded with a simple yet meaningful mission, the annual event provides girls with the opportunity to share a special evening with their father or a significant male figure in their lives.

Whether attending with a dad, grandfather, uncle, mentor or family friend, participants experience a night centered on strengthening relationships and creating joyful moments.

The event has grown into one of the community’s most anticipated gatherings, known for delivering a memorable and engaging experience for all guests.

Highlights of the evening include professional DJs, treat boxes for attendees, a flower presentation for every girl, raffle prize drawings throughout the night and a souvenir photo for every guest.

Every dollar raised through the Kelseyville Father Daughter Dance is reinvested directly into funding the event. In select years, proceeds have also supported high school scholarships benefiting girls who have participated in the dance. The event is made possible through the dedication of adult volunteers who generously donate their time and efforts.

“Our goal has always been to create a magical, meaningful experience for families,” organizers shared. “Seeing generations of attendees continue this tradition is what makes the event truly special.”

As the dance continues its long standing legacy, organizers look forward to welcoming both returning families and first time participants to celebrate another year of this treasured Kelseyville event.
