The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, in the Board of Supervisors chambers at the Lake County Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport. TV8 will broadcast the meeting live.
In an untimed item, the board will receive an update from the Code Enforcement Division concerning its current case load, examples of voluntary compliance and other statistical information.
At 9:10 a.m., the board will present a proclamation designating the month of May as National Military Appreciation Month, to be followed at 9:15 a.m. by a proclamation designating the week of May 2-8 as National Correctional Officers and Employees Week in Lake County.
The board will hold two closed sessions on Tuesday. An untimed closed session will cover labor negotiations and a performance evaluation of Community Development Director Rick Coel.
In a 1:30 p.m. closed session the board will consider an appeal of an employee disciplinary action.
The board will hold a special workshop beginning at 9 a.m. Friday, May 7, at Rob Roy Golf Club, 16451 Golf Road on Cobb.
