LAKE COUNTY – The Board of Supervisors is seeking applicants to fill vacancies or seek reappointments for expired or expiring terms on a number of important advisory boards.

If you are interested in serving your community, consider applying for one of the following.

• Area 1 Developmental Disabilities Board, two vacancies;

• Big Valley Groundwater Management Zone Commission, two vacancies – water district category;

• Child Care Planning and Development Council, three vacancies – two in consumer and one in child care provider categories;

• Emergency Medical Care Committee, on vacancy – community college district category;

• Fish and Wildlife Advisory Committee, two vacancies – conservation/wildlife industry category and law enforcement categories;

• Heritage Commission, one vacancy – District 1 category (Clearlake area resident);

• In Home Support Services (IHSS) Public Authority Advisory Committee, four vacancies – two in senior consumer, one in disabled consumer and one in senior community categories;

• Law Library Board of Trustees, board appointee category;

• Mental Health Board, one vacancy – general membership category;

• North Bay Cooperative Library Advisory Board, one vacancy – Lake County category.

All the vacancies are countywide unless stated.

All appointment to the boards referenced above will be made on or after Aug. 17.
