The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, in the Board of Supervisors chambers at the Lake County Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport. TV8 will broadcast the meeting live.
At 9:45 a.m. the Lake County Public Services Department will take to the board a discussion of revenues and a request for approval for contract amendments with Lake County Waste Solutions and South Lake Refuse-Recycling LLC.
The department reported that revenues are down for recycling, and the proposed amendments include service rate increases that would go into effect as of July 1.
The board will hear a presentation regarding a proposed wind farm project on Walker Ridge at 11 a.m.
At 11:30 a.m., the board will discuss and consider a floating island and natural building project at Clark's Island in Clearlake Oaks, and consider a proposed agreement between the Lake County Redevelopment Agency and Massey Burke for project manager services for Clark's Island natural building improvements, with the agreement cost not to exceed $6,000.
The board also will hold a closed session to discuss labor negotiations and an existing case of litigation, Mishewal Wappo Tribe of Alexander Valley v. Salazar.
