CLEARLAKE, Calif. – The Friday Night Farmers' Market at Redbud Park in Clearlake hosts its annual free ice cream social in celebration of the season this Friday, Aug. 20, during the market's regular hours of 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

For its third season, the Lake County Community Co-op's members dish up free organic ice cream for attendees of the Market.

Market goers will also be treated to the well-coordinated and musically delightful efforts of the Cobb Stompers, the "good time" string band from Cobb Mountain.

As well, Lake County's peak season local abundance will be showcased by Leonardis Organics, featuring heirloom varieties of tomatoes, cucumbers, and zucchinis, as well as unique pickins' like ochra, edamame, eggplant and more.

The Friday Night Farmers' Market is a collaborative effort of the Lake County Community Co-op, the Clearlake Chamber of Commerce and the City of Clearlake and is located under the cool trees on the lakefront lawn of Redbud Park in Clearlake.
