Sept. 30 grand opening set for sheriff

LUCERNE, Calif. – The Lake County Sheriff’s Northshore Regional Office in Lucerne will officially open to the public later this month.

The facility is located at 6222 E. Highway 20.

“We are enthused about the benefits of having a station to operate from on the Northshore and expect the facility to provide for more expedient response times for both emergency and non-emergency calls for service, as well as promote a closer relationship with the north shore communities,” said Sheriff Rod Mitchell.

Mitchell said the regional office's grand opening will take place on Thursday, Sept. 30, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

All members of the public are invited to join the agency for refreshments and view the new facility.

Additional information about the grand opening and open house, as well as questions about services the regional office will offer, can be directed to Sgt. Dave Perry at 707-274-6713.
