EXTENSION OF ORDINANCE NO. 2009-147 ESTABLISHING A TEMPORARY MORATORIUM ON MEDICAL MARIJUANA DISPENSARIES IN THE CITY OF CLEARLAKE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Clearlake City Council will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, Oct. 14, in the City Hall Council Chambers at 14050 Olympic Drive, Clearlake, California at 6 p.m. or soon thereafter.

The purpose of the hearing is for the City Council to hear public testimony to determine whether to extend Ordinance No. 2009-147, which established a temporary moratorium on medical marijuana dispensaries in the City of Clearlake.

The public or any affected parties may review the staff reports and other relevant documents prior to the hearing. These documents will be available to the public from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. beginning on October 11, 2010, at Clearlake City Hall, 14050 Olympic Drive. Members of the public may submit written comments on the matter to the City Council prior to the hearing and/or may appear at the public hearing and speak on the matter. Appeal to the City Council's decision is limited to the consideration of those issues addressed by the City Council at the public hearing.
