CLEARLAKE, Calif. – A Thursday area check by Clearlake Police officers led to the arrest of two people who were wanted on warrants and who, in addition, were alleged to be in possession of drugs, with one of them additionally being charged for weapons possession.

Arrested late Thursday morning were Amber Rachelle Williams, 29, and Anthony Jamal Holloman, 24,

both of Clearlake.

At approximately 11:46 a.m. Clearlake Police officers were in the area of Safeway, 14922 Olympic Drive, on an unrelated matter, according to a department report.

While checking the area, the officers spotted Hollomon – known to be a wanted subject – riding as a passenger in a gray Chevrolet Camaro traveling southbound on Old Highway 53, the report said.

The report explained that Officer Ramirez and Det. Alvarado initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle in the east parking lot of Four Corners Hardware Store.

Williams, who was driving, and Hollomon were arrested for outstanding warrants. Clearlake Police reported that during a search incident to arrest, narcotics, drug paraphernalia and dangerous weapons were located inside the vehicle and the two were charged and transported to the Lake County Jail.

Williams was booked on felony charges of possession of narcotics and possession of a dangerous weapon, and misdemeanors including possession of a controlled substance, driving on a suspended license, providing false identification to a peace officer and a misdemeanor bench warrant, according to jail records. Her bail was set at $10,000.

Hollomon was booked on two misdemeanor bench warrants and on a misdemeanor count of possession of controlled substance paraphernalia. Jail booking records indicated his bail was set at $5,000.

Jail records indicated both remained in custody Thursday night.
