For the most part, the rain and freezing nights are over and the community can once again rejoice in fresh local produce.
Plan on bringing your family and catch up with your friends, buy some goodies and listen to the lovely sounds of Linda Brown's Harp in the beautiful setting Steele Wines provides at Thomas Drive off Highway 29.
The season opens on Saturday, May 7, 8:30 a.m. to noon.
As the season progresses look forward to an ever-increasing bounty of fresh and mostly local produce.
Out-of-county producers only provide what is not readily available in Lake County to round out your shopping experience. Sign up for “The Freshest News” on www.lakecountyfarmersfinest.org to receive the most up-to-date information.
