SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 2951

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors, County of Lake, State of California, adopted Ordinance No. 2951, A PROPOSED ORDINANCE ADDING ARTICLE XXVI TO CHAPTER 2 OF THE LAKE COUNTY CODE REGARDING ALTERNATIVE PROCEDURES FOR THE LEASING OR LICENSING OF COUNTY REAL PROPERTY.

This ordinance allows the County to enter into a lease or licensing contract (under $10,000/month and under 10 year lease, non-renewable) with an interested party instead of performing the formal bidding procedures. A certified copy of the full text of the proposed ordinance is posted for public review on the First Floor of the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California. This ordinance was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, by the following vote:

AYES: Supervisors Smith, Rushing, Farrington, Brown and Comstock

NOES: None

ABSENT OR NOT VOTING: None

This ordinance will take effect on July 28, 2011.
