LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lakeport Police Department is asking for the community's assistance in locating a missing “at risk” adult male.
At 8 p.m. Thursday the Lakeport Police Department received a report that Darayn S. Schweizer, 44, had gone missing.
Schweizer was last seen by a family member at the intersections of Third and Park streets at 2 p.m. Thursday, Lakeport Police reported.
Police said Schweizer suffers from a mental condition and has not been taking his medication regularly, which could result in his disorientation and bizarre behavior. He is typically nonviolent and will likely speak to strangers.
Schweizer may be trying to get back to his residence in Moses Lake, Wash.
He is described as a white male adult, 5 feet, 7 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and the tattoos of “Mom” on his right wrist and a dragon on his left forearm.
Police said Schweizer was reportedly wearing a green sweatshirt, blue painter pants and black boots when he was last seen.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or their local law enforcement agency, as the subject has been entered into the Countrywide Missing Person database.
