Notice of Intent to Adopt a Mitigated Negative Declaration –
Dam Road Extension Plan Line Adoption & Public Hearing Notice

To:  All Responsible, Trustee, Public, Local Agencies and Interested Parties

The City of Clearlake, as the Lead Agency, has prepared an Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration for public review as follows.

Project Title: Dam Road Extension Plan Line Adoption

Project Description & Location:             
The proposed Project includes adoption of a Plan Line for the future extension of Dam Road from South Center Drive to 18th Avenue in the eastern portion of Clearlake. The project does not involve any roadway construction. The site is not a known toxic site.

Project Impacts:     
Potentially significant impacts of the project include: Aesthetics, Air Quality, Cultural Resources, Biological Resources and Noise. There is no evidence that the proposed project would result in a potentially significant impact, either individually or cumulatively, that could not be mitigated to a level of insignificance.

Public Hearing:        
There will be a Public Hearing on the above item on by the Clearlake City Council on June 28, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. at 14050 Olympic Drive, Clearlake, California to discuss environmental issues and the underlying project. If you would like to learn more about this Project, or if you have questions or concerns, please come to this public hearing.
