LAKEPORT, Calif. – A forum for candidates in this fall’s Lakeport City Council race will be held on Thursday, Oct. 4.

The forum will be held in the council chambers at Lakeport City Hall, 225 Park St., from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Six candidates – incumbents Suzanne Lyons and Bob Rumfelt, and challengers Mary Nolan, Kenny Parlet, Martin Scheel and Marc Spillman – are running for three seats on the council in the November election.
