FINLEY, Calif. – First 5 California has partnered with First 5 Lake County and the Mother-Wise program to bring the touring Hands-On Health Express to the Farmer’s Market at Steele Winery.

First 5 California’s Hands-On Health Express is a bilingual children’s exhibit that travels across California to inspire families with children ages 5 and younger to eat right and stay physically active.

Children participate in interactive learning activities while parents receive free resources.

The exhibit will be at the farmers’ market from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 20.

Steele Winery is located at 4350 Thomas Drive, Finley.

First 5 California funds programs that educate parents, grandparents, caregivers and teachers about the critical role they play during a child's first five years of life.
