LAKE COUNTY – The Board of Supervisors' fairly short agenda for Tuesday includes nuisance abatement assessment hearings and amendments to the Social Services Department's position allocations.

The meeting starts at 9 a.m. at the Board of Supervisors' chambers at the Lake County Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St.

The agenda includes three hearings, timed from 9:45 a.m. through 10 a.m., on nuisance abatement assessments for properties owned by Lakeview Family Properties LLC). The lien amounts are $6,746.35 at 11420 Pingree Road, Clearlake Oaks; $4,204.64 at 11300 Widgeon Way, Clearlake Oaks; and $2,221.07 at 11458 Widgeon Way.

Under non-timed items, the board will look at a resolution amending its resolution establishing allocations for this fiscal year relating to Social Services Department positions.

The amendments include deleting nine Social Worker I and II positions and adding nine Social Worker I/ Social Worker I-CPS/ Social Worker II-CS positions; deleting one Social Worker II-Resource and Referral Specialist position and adding one Social Worker II-Resource and Referral Specialist-CPS position; deleting 17 Social Worker III positions and adding 17 Social Worker III/ Social Worker III-CPS/ Social Worker III-CalWORKS positions; deleting eight Social Worker IV positions and adding eight Social Worker IV-CPS positions; deleting five Social Worker Supervisor I/II positions and adding five Social Worker Supervisor I/ Social Worker Supervisor I-CPS/ Social Worker II-CPS positions; and deleting two Secretary II positions and adding two Secretary I/II positions.

The board also will hear an update on emergency action taken on Sept. 11, 2007, regarding the Mt. Hannah water tank replacement.

The meeting will be broadcast on TV Channel 8.
