LAKE COUNTY – The county is seeking citizens interested in taking part in local government as members of a number of advisory boards.

The following is a listing of vacancies:

– Big Valley Groundwater Management Zone Commission: One in the agriculture users category, two vacancies, both in the water district category.

– Emergency Medical Care Committee: Vacancies in the categories of Redbud Hospital and Community College District.

– Fish and Wildlife Advisory Committee: One vacancy in the recreation industry category and one vacancy in the livestock industry category.

– In-Home Support Services Advisory Committee: Two vacancies in the senior consumer category, one vacancy in disabled consumer category and one vacancy in the senior community category.

– Mental Health Board: One vacancy.

– North Bay Cooperative Library Advisory Board: One vacancy.

– Sacramento Valley Westside Canal Association: One vacancy.

– Section 8 Housing Resident Advisory Board: One vacancy.

All the vacancies are countywide unless stated, and all memberships on the above-referenced advisory boards are voluntary.
