LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lakeport Department of Public Works will conduct a fire hazard mitigation burn on Thursday, May 1.

The burn, which will be carried out in conjunction with the Lakeport Fire Department and Cal Fire, will take place adjacent to Highway 175 at mile post marker 7.02, starting at 6 a.m.
