LAKEPORT, Calif. – What is the proper time to harvest squash or peaches? Should you refrigerate them? How long will they last?
These questions and more will be answered by the U.C. Master Gardeners of Lake County at a workshop entitled When to harvest and how to store your fruits and vegetables.
The workshop will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 17, at the Agricultural Center, 883 Lakeport Blvd., Lakeport, a wheelchair-accessible facility.
