LAKEPORT, Calif. – Maria Muldaur will perform at the Soper Reese Theatre on Friday, Dec. 5.

The show starts at 8 p.m.

Muldaur is best known for her 1974 mega-hit “Midnight at the Oasis,” which received several Grammy nominations and enshrined her forever in the hearts of Baby Boomers everywhere.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of “Midnight at the Oasis,” Muldaur has created a retrospective, “Way Past Midnight,” which chronicles her journey “to the Oasis and Beyond.”

This special concert features all her hits and fan faves from every stage of her career, as well as fascinating, entertaining and often humorous stories of her personal encounters, friendships and collaborations with many of the greatest names in music including Bonnie Raitt, Phoebe Snow, Holly Near, David Grisman, Roy Rogers, Koko Taylor and Ruthie Foster.

Including Muldaur’s considerable pop music success, her 50-year career could best be described as a long and adventurous odyssey through various forms of American Roots Music.

She has now settled comfortably into her favorite idiom, the Blues.

Muldaur has produced 40 record albums, six of which garnered a Grammy nomination.

She also has received a nomination for best traditional blues album of the year by The Blues Foundation.

Reserved seat tickets are $30, $25 and $20.
