LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public's assistance in identifying what is believed to be stolen property in order to return it to its rightful owners.
On Wednesday, deputies responded to a rash of reported thefts in the Kelseyville area, according to Lt. Steve Brooks.
Around 3:15 p.m., with a citizen’s help, deputies located a vehicle parked at Pioneer Park containing stolen property, Brooks said.
Brooks said some of the property was identified as stolen and later returned to its rightful owners.
It's yet to be determined if some of the other property contained within the vehicle was stolen, Brooks said.
