LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Board of Supervisors will hold a special meeting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, to extend a local health emergency due to the Valley fire.

The supervisors will meet in the board chambers on the first floor of the Lake County Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport.

The board will meet to consider extending a local health emergency declared in September due to the Valley fire.

The law requires the proclamation declaring the emergency be renewed every two weeks.
