KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – Tickets for the Kelseyville Pear Festival kickoff dinner and concert are now on sale.
This popular event will be held Friday, Sept. 23, at the Wildhurst Tasting Room Courtyard, 3855 Main St., Kelseyville.
Dave Stamey, nationally acclaimed cowboy singer, returns by popular demand to entertain.
Stamey has been voted six times “Entertainer of the Year,” six times “Male Performer of the Year” and five times “Songwriter of the Year” by the Western Music Association, and received the Will Rogers Award from the Academy of Western Artists.
He’s delighted audiences in 23 states and finds that he prefers this to being stomped by angry horses.
The reception opens at 5 p.m. with a complimentary glass of wine, appetizers and music by local performer David Neft.
Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. and is provided by Fresh and Bangin. The menu includes tri tip steak, pear slaw, smoked chicken, mixed green salad, baked beans, roasted corn salad, and corn bread with an assortment of compound butters. Coffee and dessert also will be served.
Dinner and the concert under the stars is a one-of-a-kind experience that the Pear Festival team delights in providing.
The oil painting used for the 24th Festival poster is titled “Catch the small town magic.”
Created by local artist Carolyn Morris, the painting is done in her own Americana style. The painting uses form and color that truly captures the small country-town feel of Kelseyville. It will be auctioned during the evening and awarded to one lucky bidder.
The all-inclusive ticket cost is $50 per person. Tickets are available July 1 at the Wildhurst Tasting Room or call 707-279-4302 to provide a credit card and number. Your tickets will be placed in will-call for pickup.
