LAKEPORT, Calif. – Due to the Clayton fire, the Lake County Democratic Club will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 13, in the United Democratic Campaign Headquarters at 390 N. Main St. in Lakeport.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The club will host three speakers. Margaret Koster is a retired social worker devoted to Move to Amend. She will address the club on Proposition 59, "Overturn Citizens United."
Joey Luiz will speak on his candidacy for Clearlake City Council. Sean Millerick will speak on his candidacy for the Middletown Unified School Board.
The usual business meeting will be shortened and only time-sensitive subjects will be addressed in order to accommodate these speakers.
Democratic Club meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m. Please note that for the next few months the group may be meeting in alternate locations.
All meetings are open to the public. Membership is open to registered Democrats.
