I urge the citizens of Clearlake to join me in voting to retain Nick Bennett on the Clearlake City Council on Nov. 8.
Nick has served for the past five months on the council and has proven his ability to put politics aside, reach out to the community for advice, research and seek out professional opinions where needed, before coming to sound, fact-based, logical, non-emotional, common sense conclusions.
Nick is a solid man with irreproachable integrity and no hidden agenda of any sort. What you see is what you get.
Nick knows our city inside and out, as over the past 20 years Nick has been a detective sergeant with the Clearlake Police Department, living and working in the community he loves and always striving to build a better future for all of the citizens of Clearlake.
Living in “the Avenues” with his wife and 13-year-old daughter, Nick is fully aware of the conditions of our roads and he is dedicated to the passage of Measure “V,” which will provide the funding to rebuild the most basic element and core of the city’s infrastructure – our roads.
Improved roads combined with proactive and fair code enforcement are the cornerstone of improving the image and beautification of Clearlake.
Nick is an excellent ambassador for our city, striving to keep our city moving forward in a positive direction with economic development, which will create fiscal health for the city, and jobs for our citizens.
Nick is in touch with and involved with the full spectrum of citizens in our community, from youth to our seniors, and Nick will continue to promote and build upon activities for our entire community.
Once again please join me on Nov. 8 voting to retain Nick Bennett on the Clearlake City Council.
