LAKEPORT, Calif. – This week the Board of Supervisors will consider continuing local emergency proclamations for the county's wildland fires and present proclamations relating to hospice and Alzheimer's awareness.

The board will meet beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, in the board chambers on the first floor of the Lake County Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport.

At 9:10 a.m., the board will present a proclamation designating the month of November 2016 as Hospice and Palliative Care Month in Lake County present a proclamation designating the month of November 2016 as Alzheimer’s Awareness Month in Lake County.

In items timed for 9:15 a.m. to 9:17 a.m., the board will consider continuing proclamations to continue local health emergencies and proclamations for local emergencies for the Rocky, Jerusalem and Valley fires.

CHANGE ORDERS

6.1: Sitting as Board of Directors Lake County Watershed Protection District, consideration of approval of contract change order No. 1 for 2016 Clover Creek Sediment Removal Project, for an increase of $5,275.73 and a new contract amount of $83,971.72; and authorize the Water Resources director to sign.   

CONSENT AGENDA

7.1: Approve the commercial lease between the county of Lake and Tri-Star Properties, L.P. for the lease of property located at 845 and 849 Bevins St., Lakeport, CA 95453 in the amount of $1,800 per month, and authorize the chair to sign.

7.2: Adopt resolution approving Lake County Health Services applying for funding through the California Department of Public Health's Prescription Drug Overdose Program in the amount of $100,000 for fiscal years 2016 through 2019 and authorize the Health Services interim director/director to sign said application.

7.3: Adopt resolution authorizing submission of grant application to the California Department of Public Health HIV/AIDS Surveillance Program for the fiscal year 2016-2017 in the amount of $10,642 and authorizing the interim Health Services director/Health Services director to sign said application and grant.

7.4: Adopt resolution approving Lake County Health Services to apply for one time funding in the amount of $5,588 through the California Department of Public Health for fiscal year 2016-17.

7.5: Adopt proclamation designating the month of November 2016 as Hospice and Palliative Care Month in Lake County.

7.6: Adopt proclamation designating the month of November 2016 as Alzheimer's Awareness Month in Lake County.   

7.7: Adopt resolution appropriating unanticipated revenue for reimbursement of the Parks Division losses from the 2016 Clayton fire in the amount of $602,974.

7.8: Approve amendment three to the agreement for construction management services for the Soda Bay Road at Cole Creek Bridge Replacement Project with Quincy Engineering Inc. in the amount of $77,130.85, and authorize the chair to sign.

9.7: Consideration of approval of Contract Change Order No. 4, Supplement No. One; Change Order No. Five; and Change Order No. Six for the Soda Bay Road at Cole Creek Bridge Replacement Project, Federal Project No. BRLS-5914(025); Bid No. 13-31 for a total increase of $373,919.90 and a revised contract amount of $1,654,200.97; and authorize chair to sign.

9.8: Consideration of approval of the sheriff's department request to waive the anti-nepotism policy for correctional officer candidate Adrian Moreno.
