LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lakeport Police Department is in the process of moving to its new headquarters.

For the last 20 years, the department has been based at 916 N. Forbes. It is now transitioning to its new headquarters, located at 2025 S. Main St., next to Kmart.

The Lakeport Police Department will be closed on Monday, Jan. 23. Officials estimate the department will reopen at the new facility on Tuesday, Jan. 24.
 
The agency said this lobby closure should in no way affect the phone lines or police response.
