KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – The Kelseyville Pear Festival committee is now accepting posters for this years’ festival.
The committee is asking for artists to paint something that depicts the rich agricultural history of the Kelseyville Pear region.
Past posters have shown Main Street, the rolling hills of Mt. Konocti and the farm lands surrounding the town.
Organizers also would like artists to include something within the poster that illustrates the 25th year anniversary.
The size of the poster should be 11 inches wide and 13 inches long.
Applicants can turn in there completed posters to OAK boutique on Main Street in Kelseyville.
The deadline is Thursday, June 1.
The Pear Festival committee has been busy in preparation for the 25th annual Pear Festival set for Saturday, Sept. 30.
There will be a new feature for this year which includes a farm to table dinner down Main Street the night before to kick off the festival.
The Pear Festival committee is excited for the year ahead and they hope that you join them for the huge celebration.
