New exhibit opens at Historic Courthouse Museum May 10

LAKEPORT, Calif. – A new exhibit is opening at the Historic Courthouse Museum in Lakeport.

“Political Citizens: National Politics in Lake County opens” on May 10, 2017, and will be available for viewing through May 2018.

The exhibit covers political issues such as prohibition, labor and suffrage as well as highlighting the different political views, conflicts and resolutions of Lake County’s citizens.

The Historic Courthouse Museum is located at 255 N. Main St., Lakeport, and is open Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m.
