KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – The service of a search warrant by the Lake County Sheriff’s Narcotics Task Force has resulted in two arrests, the seizure of methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription medication, four glass pipes and several hypodermic syringes.
Sgt. Steve Brooks said 52-year-old Russell Allan Lee and 38-year-old Suzanne Michelle Boccaleoni, both of Kelseyville, were arrested as a result of the search warrant service.
On Thursday, May 24, narcotics detectives secured a search warrant for Lee, his home and vehicle, Brooks said.
On the evening of Friday, June 1, at approximately 9:20 p.m., narcotics detectives located Lee’s vehicle and with the assistance of the Clearlake Police Department, and conducted an enforcement stop in the Lower Lake area. Brooks said Lee, who was the driver of the vehicle, was detained at the time of the stop.
The search warrant was served on vehicle. Brooks said the narcotics detection K9 alerted on the trunk area of Lee’s vehicle.
A search of the vehicle produced approximately one ounce of methamphetamine which was hidden in the trunk area, Brooks said. Also located in the vehicle, was an open container of alcohol and a canister of pepper spray. It was also determined that Lee was under the influence of a controlled substance.
Lee was arrested for possession of methamphetamine for sales, transportation of methamphetamine for sales, being under the influence of a controlled substance, open container and a felon in possession of tear gas, Brooks said. Lee was transported to the Lake County Hill Road Correctional Facility and booked.
Also on June 1, 10:40 p.m., narcotics detectives served the search warrant on Lee’s home, which is located on Riviera Heights Drive in Kelseyville. Brooks said when detectives entered the home, they contacted Boccaleoni, who was detained without incident.
During a search of the home, detectives located a large scale indoor marijuana cultivation operation in the garage area, containing 118 mature marijuana plants, Brooks said.
Inside one of the bedrooms, they located 21 immature female marijuana clones and several blue tablets in a plastic bag, which were later identified as Diazepam. Brooks said detectives also located two glass pipes in the living room area.
A search of Boccaleoni’s bedroom produced a glass pipe used to ingest methamphetamine and an un-capped hypodermic syringe, Brooks said. A small amount of methamphetamine and a glass pipe were also located inside Boccaleoni’s purse.
Detectives conducted a search of a motor home located on the property, Brooks said. Inside the motor home they located 27 hypodermic syringes and a digital scale.
Boccaleoni was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia. Brooks said she was transported to the Lake County Hill Road Correctional Facility and booked.
After serving the search warrant on the home, detectives also had Lee booked with the additional charges of cultivation of marijuana and possession of marijuana for sales, Brooks said.
