CLEARLAKE, Calif. – A late night fire in Clearlake burned a structure and was reported to have threatened other buildings nearby.
The fire was reported about 11:15 p.m. in the vicinity of 31st and Boyles avenues, according to radio reports.
The first firefighters on scene reported a fully involved structure with other nearby structures threatened, based on reports from the scene.
Lake County Fire and Cal Fire were dispatched to the fire, with firefighters responding in warned of possible power lines down.
Radio reports indicated firefighters were posted near a structure to the west of the fire to protect it from the main blaze.
After the fire was contained shortly before midnight it was reported that firefighters would be committed until close to 2 a.m. for mop up operations.
Additional details about the fire weren't immediately available early Monday.
