LUCERNE, Calif. –  An afternoon fire damaged power lines, destroyed a doublewide mobile home and damaged at least one adjacent home Sunday at approximately 3 p.m.

Local residents worked to save a dog as Northshore Fire battled the blaze. One person was injured but declined transport via REACH.

Firefighters appeared to have the blaze quickly under control and were cancelling additional response by 3:15 p.m.
