CLEARLAKE, Calif. – A fire early Monday morning destroyed a motorhome.
The vehicle, parked in the area of 19th and Irving avenues, was reported to be on fire at around 7 a.m., according to reports from the scene.
Capt. Dave Deakins of the Lake County Fire Protection District said the vehicle was fully involved when firefighters arrived.
It took firefighters about 10 minutes to knock the fire down, Deakins said.
No one was in the motorhome at the time of the fire, and Deakins said there were no injuries.
He said the fire was attributed to a candle that had been left burning inside the motorhome.
