The hours on Saturday are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The show includes over 170 quilts in 28 categories including art quilts, innovative quilts, traditional piecing, wearable items and miniature pieces.
There are also home décor items such as table runners and placemats.
The judges award ribbons for first, second and third place in each category, best of category in the art, innovative and traditional groups, best of show and judges’ choice.
VIP community members each give out a ribbon for their favorite quilt. During the show attendees will be asked to vote for their favorite quilt. At 3 p.m. on Sunday, the viewer’s choice ribbon is announced.
Lynn Wilder, the featured quilter, presents her quilts and talks with attendees about her quilts on display.
“I enjoy designing and making traditional quilts, combining my love of appliqué with pieced blocks,” Wilder said.
Among the quilt show’s other attractions will be vendors, demonstrations, prize drawings, a silent auction, theme basket raffles, opportunity quilt drawing and the Country Store Boutique.
Lunch will be available across from Lewis Hall.
Discount presale tickets are available at Kerrie’s Quilting, 1853 N. High St. in Lakeport now through Oct. 6.
Presale tickets are $8 and at the door $10. Tickets for children ages 5 to 12 are $2 and children under age 5 may attend for free.
