KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – The creators of the original musical “Even In Shadow” are seeking talented performers to fill eight principal roles.
The story unfolds in the wards of Grace Memorial Hospital, where four teenagers battle a rare and devastating illness known as DeShores’ Disease. Unless Dr. Christine Carey can find a cure, their lives will be painful and tragically short.
Encouraged by his wife Jennifer, record executive Gary Galvani becomes an unexpected ally and source of support for the group. Together, they share small triumphs, open fears, and moments of unexpected laughter.
As their lives intertwine, they transform one another – discovering through shared struggle what it truly means to live, and how love, courage, and friendship can shine even when time is running out.
The production team is seeking two females and two males to portray characters aged 17 to 19, and three females and one male to portray characters in their forties. Those who audition must be 18 years of age or older.
Auditions will take place on Saturdays, March 21 and 28, at 2 p.m. in the Friendship Hall of the Kelseyville Presbyterian Church, located at 5340 Third St.
