LAKEPORT, Calif. – Lake One-Stop will offer 16 no-cost workshops in October.

Online training from www.lynda.com is offered every Tuesday from 9 a.m. to noon, as well as a GED prep workshop at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

On Thursday, Oct. 13, at 9 a.m. is a basic computers workshop for jobseekers who need hands-on help with an introduction to computers.

On Thursday, Oct. 20, at 9 a.m. come learn resume building and formatting techniques at the jobseeker resume workshop.

On Thursday, Oct. 27, at 9 a.m. a job search workshop will focus on job readiness tips and tricks.

The Lake One-Stop is part of America’s One-Stop Career Center System that establishes partnerships between business and job seeker programs.
