CLEARLAKE – An Oct. 13 seminar on estate planning will look at how to avoid scams.

“Taking Charge – Educating Seniors on How to Avoid Estate Planning Scams” will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Orchard Park Assisted Living and Memory Care Community, 14789 Burns Valley Road, Clearlake.

The workshop is sponsored by State Bar, Trusts & Estate Section and presented by attorney Dennis A. Fordham.

There will be an open discussion, comment session and light refreshments.
