Discounted ticket sales for wine festival end Friday

LAKEPORT – People planning to save $5 each on their admission to this year's Home Wine Makers Festival are urged to act fast, as sales of discounted tickets will end Friday at 6 p.m.

Tickets priced at $20 at the gate are offered for just $15 if purchased in advance.

They are available in Lakeport at The Kitchen Galley, Shari's Secret Garden and Watershed Books, all on Main street downtown, as well as Catfish Books in the Safeway Mall and the Lakeport Chamber of Commerce.

In Clearlake they may be obtained at the Chamber of Commerce, while High Valley and Shannon Ridge Wineries – both on Highway 20 in Clearlake Oaks – also carry them.

Other outlets include Rosa D'Oro and Wildhurst Wineries in Kelseyville and Steele and Robledo Family Wineries in Finley. Tulip Hill Winery in Nice also handles advance ticket sales.

The festival will take place on Saturday, June 26, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Library Park in Lakeport.

It is a major fundraiser for Clear Lake Performing Arts, with proceeds going to underwrite the Lake County Symphony and Youth Orchestras, and other youth music support programs.
