A solar energy workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at Ancient Lake Gardens , 8993 Soda Bay Road in Kelseyville.
The workshop will include the installation of a small, home scale photovoltaic system to learn about newly emerging battery technologies, innovative charging techniques, the basic principles of electricity, and how to source and install solar components.
Discover solar designs to grow food: solar-powered irrigation, fencing, fountains, and other functional water features to benefit gardens and landscapes.
The instructor is Brett Belan, an engineer who specializes in alternative energy and fuels, including Tesla technologies.
Please bring a brown bag lunch. Farm fresh drinks will be provided.
