LAKEPORT, Calif. – Lakeport Kiwanis Club is hosting a Washers Tournament from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6, benefiting Westside Community Park at the second annual Grillin’ on the Green fundraising event.

Washers is a game similar to horseshoes that is suitable for young, old and everyone in between.

The tournament entry fee is $40 per team with mailed entries being accepted until Aug. 1.

Entry forms are available on the Lakeport Kiwanis Web site at http://kiwanislakeport.org as well as at the Lake County Chamber of Commerce, Lake Event Design and the Kitchen Gallery.

The first place team will receive $200, second place $100 and noncash prizes will be awarded to third through eighth place finishers. A maximum of 32 teams will be accepted.
