The meeting will begin at 4 p.m.
The Lake County Chamber Orchestra will entertain attendees, followed by a free dinner and a brief business meeting for the purpose of electing new officers for the forthcoming year.
Nominated officers are Edward Bublitz, president; Marta Fuller, first vice-president; David Zellerbach, second vice-president; Lynne Bruner, treasurer; and Kim DeAlba, secretary.
The Lake County Chamber Orchestra is made up of most of the county's classical musical stars, who promise outstanding entertainment for CLPA members and their guests.
Chief among them are Gary Miller and Chris Jorgensen who will team up to play "Concerto for Two Trumpets in C Major" by Antonio Vivaldi, one of only two such concerto's written by the famed Italian composer.
Flutists Cathy Hall and Patricia Jekel will join with violinist Andi Skelton in a presentation of J.S. Bach's “Brandenburg Concerto No. 4 in G.”
This is one of the six concertos released by Bach in 1721, often called some of the best music of the Baroque era. Also featured will be Mozart's “Divertimento No. 10 in F, for 2 horns and strings.” John Parkinson will conduct the orchestra.
Members of the CLPA Auxiliary will handle food serving under the direction of volunteer managing chef Ed Bublitz. Wine will be provided by the CLPA Wine Committee.
All CLPA members in good standing are urged to attend, and to bring guests who may be interested in joining the organization.
