CLEARLAKE OAKS, Calif. – Lake County Energy Watch is cosponsoring a Lake County Energy Conservation Workshop on Saturday, Sept. 24.

The free workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Clearlake Oaks Moose Lodge, located at the intersection of Highway 53 and Highway 20.

Find out about simple things your family can do to reduce energy costs, and hear about financial assistance programs and how you might qualify.

Learn how Pacific Gas & Electric Co. and other agencies can provide you with materials and services such as home energy audits, rebates and more, and see a new hybrid car.

Attendees also will get the facts about convenient, low-cost financing for solar panels or other energy improvements for their homes.
