CLEARLAKE OAKS, Calif. – The Lake County Computer Users' October meeting will take place on Saturday, Oct. 1.

The meeting will be held at the Live Oak Senior Center, 12502 Foothill Blvd., Clearlake Oaks.

Judy Grindle will demonstrate Facebook, with emphasis on privacy, sharing, and keeping up with family and friends.

They will show you how to find out what information others can see, and how to share selectively.

Jim Erdahl will show the group why Wordpad, which comes with all versions of Windows, is quite a good word processor. He'll also offer advice on how to store user files for easier backups.

Would you like to access free online storage, such as Google Docs, Microsoft's 25GB SkyDrive or Amazon's 5GB CloudDrive using Windows Explorer? The group will look at Gladinet, which lets you do that and more.
