KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – Kelseyville’s Christmas in the Country and Parade of Lights will return on Friday, Dec. 2.

Join the community members for an old-fashioned Christmas in the Country, merchant open house and parade of lights from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The parade begins at 6:30 p.m. with the biggest and best light parade in Lake County.

Santa will light the town Christmas tree at the firehouse, followed by photos with Santa across the street at Westamerica Bank where David Neft, Lake County's piano man, will be entertaining all with holiday music.

Bring the family and delight in the towns decorations, where holiday music and soft scents of the season mingle in the crisp winter air.

Enjoy a ride through town on a decorated mule drawn carriage from Eleven Roses Ranch, visit the local merchants for free hot cocoa, cider and cookies and stroll down Main Street greeting old friends and making new ones.

Have a chili and chowder dinner at Kelseyville Presbyterian Church, then visit St. Peter's Catholic Church for holiday goodies, walk down and visit Kelseyville United Methodist Church and the Unitarian Universalist Church who have recently begun sharing the building with the Methodist church for coffee, cocoa and cookies and choir singing holiday tunes.

Bring some canned food or make a donation for the annual food drive to help local families.

Get in the holiday spirit and join in for an old-fashioned Christmas in the Country.
