Taylor Observatory-Norton Planetarium shows 'Mystery of the Christmas Star' during holidays

KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – The Taylor Observatory-Norton Planetarium will be showing the Evans and Sutherland full dome movie, “The Mystery of the Christmas Star,” throughout the holiday season.


Journey back 2,000 years and examine significant astronomical events that may explain the Christmas Star.


What could have been remarkable enough to cause the Wise Men to travel across the desert from Babylon to Bethlehem?


This retelling of the Christmas Story is sure to captivate audiences of all ages.


Shows will take place at 7 p.m., 7:45 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, Nov. 25 through Jan. 7.


Tickets cost $6 for adults, $3 for children under age 12.
