Sons of Norway Heritage and Culture Night and seventh anniversary celebrated Jan. 18

KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – The Sons of Norway Vikings of the Lake Lodge No. 6-166 will celebrates its seventh anniversary and holds its monthly Heritage and Culture Night on Wednesday, Jan. 18.


Dinner begins at 6 p.m. at Galilee Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 8860 Soda Bay Road, Kelseyville.


Dinner will include salmon (Lasks Fillet), potatoes with parsley (Poteter med Persille), Norse cucumber salad (Norsk Agurksalat) and dessert.


The cost for dinner is $10 per person.


At 7 p.m. the group will install new officers for the group.


That will be followed by a special musical program with Stan Hansen on accordion.


Ellen Aasen is designing and making a queen size quilt to be raffled at this meeting. This is another scholarship benefit for Heritage members to attend Camp Troll Fjell Language and Heritage Camp at Camp Norge. Tickets can be purchased at this meeting.
