Upper Lake is the only high school in Lake County without stadium lights. Acquisition of these lights will allow the school to host evening games and to increase school spirit and pride. Future students will benefit from the ongoing commitments that are now being made.
Due to the success of the past years’ events, the Upper Lake High School Booster’s Club/Lights of Love Committee is hosting the fourth annual Lights of Love Valentine dinner/dance at the Sons of Italy clubhouse on Highway 20 in Nice on Saturday, Feb. 11.
Happy hour begins at 5 p.m. From 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. a buffet-style dinner consisting of tri tip or chicken will be served, and beer or wine will be available.
There will be a silent auction from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and an indoor poker run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The Jim Williams Band will provide dance music from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The event will bring the community together for a common goal – bringing lights to Upper Lake High's stadium.
If you are interested and would like to participate and/or contribute to this vision, there are several ways that you can help.
You can attend and purchase individual tickets for $25 each, or reserve an exclusive table for eight for $250. You can donate a prize for the silent auction, or you can simply make a monetary donation.
The committee hopes that you will consider attending on Saturday, Feb. 11, and help them make this dream possible. You’ll have a night of food, fun and entertainment.
