DFG to host Hunter Education Class

LAKEPORT, Calif. – The California Department of Fish & Game will conduct a Hunter Education Class at the Lakeport Fire Department this month.

Students must attend all three night classes, the Saturday morning class and pass a written exam to receive full credit for the course.

The course will be limited to 25 students, and will be held at the Lakeport Fire Protection District’s main office, 455 N. Main St.

The classes will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, July 23; Tuesday, July 24; and Thursday, July 26; and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 28.
