LOWER LAKE, Calif. – The Lake County Amateur Radio Society will meet on Thursday, Sept. 27.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at DJ's Pizza on Main Street in Lower Lake.

All members of the public are welcome to come and join in the information exchange and learn about what the club does for fun or in case of emergencies, such as fires.

The group also helps out during community events such as bike races and the fair.
