KELSEYVILLE – On Sunday, Dec. 16, Vikings of Lake Lodge, Sons of Norway, held their fourth annual Scandinavian Christmas Open House.

Events included in the festivities of the day were not only eating lots of good food and dancing around the Christmas tree, but the first Swedish Santa Lucia Pageant locally.

The lodge selected Ingrid Tisell as this year's Santa Lucia. Also in the pageant were “Star Boys” Lars Tisell and Sebastian Sharpe; Lucia maidens Morgan Heffley, Madison Heffley and Sarah Christensen; and Aurora Sharpe as the elf.

These young people are all "Heritage Members" of Sons of Norway Lodge and as descendants of adult members, they pay no dues but receive a free quarterly magazine called "Vikings for Kids.”
